Grounds Maintenance Handyman

Reports to: Grounds Manager

Job Overview

The school maintains a 44-acre athletic complex several miles from the school campus. The Grounds Maintenance Handyman may be assigned to perform tasks at either campus. This position is paid hourly at a rate competitive in the marketplace and consistent with specific experience with these responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Mowing lawns, trimming, and edging along walkways, flower beds, and walls
  • Trimming bushes and trees
  • Planting bushes and flowers
  • Applying lawn care chemicals as needed
  • Repairing and maintaining mowers, blowers, and sprinkler systems
