17 Apr Shark Attack Robotics Builds Momentum
The WA Shark Attack Robotics Team has had an exciting and successful competition season, continuing to build momentum with each event!
At the Orlando Regional, the team delivered a strong offensive performance, winning 6 of 8 qualification matches and earning the role of 8th alliance captain. With a high score of 293 points, they competed against the top-ranked alliance in a hard-fought match, showcasing impressive programming and teamwork.
The team carried that momentum into the Rocket City Regional, where they achieved a new program record with a match score of 401 points and finished 6th overall. Competing in the double-elimination playoffs, they demonstrated exceptional execution, strategic planning, and a consistently high-performing robot.
We are grateful for the dedication of our students and mentors, whose long hours and hard work have made this success possible, as well as for the continued support of our families.
The team now heads to Tallahassee this weekend for their next competition—join us in cheering them on as they continue this incredible season!
