WA senior Ryann Mahoney has received early admission to the University of Chicago through the UChicago Summer Student Early Notification option—a prestigious and highly selective program available only to students who have completed a UChicago Pre-College Summer Session.
The Summer Student Early Notification option allows participants from UChicago’s residential or online summer programs to apply in their senior year as part of a binding early admission process. Designed for students who have identified UChicago as their first choice, this program recognizes those who have already demonstrated academic excellence and a deep connection to the university. Students admitted through this pathway are notified of their decision within three weeks of completing their application—well before the traditional early or regular decision rounds.
