Title: Tuition Management & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Overview:
The Tuition Management and Accounts Receivable Specialist is a vital function within the Business Office at Westminster Academy. Reporting to the Business Office Manager, this position is responsible for the following broad areas of responsibility:
- Coordination of new family billing and business office orientation
- Coordination of the FACTS tuition payment plans
- Coordination of, and compliance with, the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (Step Up) and other state scholarship programs
- Monitoring accounts receivable, establishing flexible payment plans when necessary, and collecting past-due balances
In many ways, this position is a very visible ambassador of the school. Deals directly with every family and often looked to for direction and guidance beyond tuition management. The ideal candidate for this position is a people person with both the ability to empathize and be firm when needed. A problem solver.
Qualifications:
- Patient and pleasant demeanor, often working with new families or families with financial challenges
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers, calculations, and spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational skills. Strong follow-up practices.
- Able to find answers online through research or through other appropriate channels.
- Previous experience working in an administrative function with heavy financial emphasis. Accounts receivable experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Office working knowledge. Will be trained to work with FACTS, our Student Information System.
