The Lions Parent Association (LPA) invites all WA parents to join them! This group of parents actively support the mission of the school. By providing opportunities to connect and cultivate relationships, LPA also promotes volunteerism and school spirit. In addition, they raise awareness of Westminster Academy in the local community. Organized into six teams, the LPA provides flexibility and offers a wide range of opportunities, which vary with regard to interest, skill, and time. This week the Lions' Parent Association (LPA) begins restocking the Uniform Bank in preparation for the 2019–20 school year! Please consider donating your uniforms, P.E. uniforms, and spirit wear. First, if you choose to help, all items need to be clean and bagged. Then, please drop them off in the lower school office, upper school office, or the WA Welcome Center. Because of the security risk, please do NOT donate uniforms and attire with a WA logo or name to other organizations. This morning began our turn towards the end of the year events. Parents gathered for a very special time to pray for our senior class by name. They also prayed over the personalized Bibles that each graduate will receive at Commencement. Alumnus Bernie Gonzalez '10, who led us in worship, recalled receiving his Bible and what it meant to him. It was inspiring to see parents of younger students join with parents of seniors to lift up their graduate, a beautiful picture of beginning with the end in mind.
