The State of the School Address is this coming Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. We will gather in the DeVos Chapel of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church to hear from WA headmaster, Mr. Satterly, who will introduce the new 2019–20 Upper School Leadership, Dr. Ron Farrar and Mr. Matt Petersen. The Lions’ Parent Association welcomes you to join Mr. Satterly for coffee and pastries on Thursday, April 11, at 8:00 a.m. in Gangway (entry from the southwest corner of the church). Designed for busy parents, One Cup is an opportunity to gather in an informal setting to discuss a parenting topic in about the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee. On Friday, March 1, A Night Under the Big Top gave way to big contributions to WA! We anticipate the generous giving from our annual dinner auction will be a net total of over $224,000, surpassing last year’s record by $76,258! During the event, we fully funded our new Collaboratory and raised over $168,000 for our Annual Fund. With much to celebrate, we also have many to thank. We're looking forward to joining the Lions’ Parent Association at the Florida Panthers Hockey Game! The WA community will gather on Saturday, March 23, at 7:00 p.m. at the BB&T Center in Sunrise for WA Family Night. The Panthers will face‐off with the Boston Bruins. In addition, our WA band will be playing before the game from 6:10–6:30 p.m. on the tarmac. We will end the night with a group photo on the ice to commemorate the event.
