The WA annual golf tournament sponsored by All American Windows and Doors will be held on Monday, October 21, at the Coral Ridge Country Club at 11:00 a.m. Sponsorship opportunities for this fundraising event start at $200 with a tee sign. In addition to providing a chance to golf, sponsorship also provides a great avenue to promote your business! Every year, Westminster Academy joins Saint Andrew’s School, St. Thomas Aquinas, and North Broward Preparatory School to sponsor the Sunshine College Fair. This private event for our high school students will take place Saturday, October 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Saint Andrew’s High School in their Malnik Family Athletic Center. This year, over 215 universities and colleges will attend the fair, giving students ample opportunities to explore their options. Because they will be speaking with admissions representatives, students should plan to wear interview attire. This year’s Homecoming is one for the record books. School spirit ran high throughout the week with decorated hallways, dress-up days, and the traditional Beach Day. However, the combination of legacy and love for our school sent the celebrations to soaring heights. First, we welcomed home the Class of 1979. They enjoyed being back at WA and stayed for the pep-rally and helped sing the WA Fight Song. Even our lower school lions attended the pep-rally.
