We enjoyed a beautiful day at Quail Creek Plantation on Friday, December 13, for the 8th Annual Sporting Clay Tournament presented by BBI! It was a very competitive day on the course with the top five participants scoring 97 and higher, two with a score of 100! The Westminster Academy High School Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, and Choirs will present a special Christmas program, “Lessons & Carols,” on Tuesday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Based on “A Festival of Lessons and Carols,” this program features our talented students celebrating the birth of Christ. Before the Thanksgiving Break, we had the privilege of hosting WA alumna, Torrey Barnes ’97 Roberts, at our LPA One Cup event. She spoke to parents on a very pivotal and sensitive topic, “Recognizing the Signs of Anxiety & Depression in Your Children.” We felt compelled to record her 30-minute session for those who did not have the opportunity to join us.
