  Last week, those present were transported back in time and immersed in a wonderful tradition from the Renaissance period. The exceptional 50th Anniversary Year Performance of Westminster Academy’s Christmas Madrigal Feaste was a sold-out dinner and performance to remember. The Great Hall was elegantly decorated and filled with a beautifully costumed Royal Court, the King and Queen, and a profusion of cast members, including lords and ladies, court jesters, wandering minstrels, dancers, and singers! Congratulations to our choir students for their acceptance into the Florida Vocal Association’s 2022 All-State Chorus! The following students competed, auditioned, and achieved this honor: Pauline Baxter, Nola Fontaine, Ben Griswold, Olivia Oropesa, Lawrence Parker, Danny Puce, Madison Sanders, Belen Vera, and Michael White. Their hard work and successful auditions, theory test, and sight-singing exam make these students among the top in our state! The All-State Chorus is a highly select group of choral students from Florida’s middle/junior high and senior high schools.
