While our students ended the school day early this Wednesday, our faculty spent the remainder of the day planning. This intentional time to look at the final weeks of this school year, and even next year, allows our teachers the opportunity to be proactive. Yesterday, the emphasis was on the classroom. While we focus on finishing the school year strong, we are also hard at work preparing for next year. Our Scholastic Book Fair is going strong! By now, your student has come home with a wish list, and our teachers have made a wish list as well. Remember, a percentage of every book purchased goes back to WA. We invite parents to bring your family back to school tonight from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for Family Night. Many of our classes will be performing for you that evening. Dear WA Community, We began this week looking forward to several opportunities to gather as a community. It is rare that in a span of a few days we would celebrate an inaugural home game of a new school sport, revel in the consecutive championships of another, and give an account of our service as an institution in a public forum. We look forward to next week when we’ll enjoy our talented students perform the musical, Once Upon A Mattress, the story of the Princess and the Pea. The cast also looks forward to the Princess Meet & Greet on Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 p.m. Prior to the matinee performance, the cast invites lower school students to wear their favorite princess, prince, or knight costume and enjoy punch and cookies with them.
