When we launched our 50th Anniversary with the Celebration Weekend in the fall, we opened the time capsule from 1996 during a special chapel. This spring, following our National Day of Prayer Chapel, we prayed for the future students, our current student body, and those who will follow. 1 Peter 4:10 says, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” As stated in the verse above, part of our activity as a Christian school is to serve others. We have coordinated student-led service projects to demonstrate our faith in action. Our Upper School service days are called “Rooted & Grounded,” following the school theme “Rooted” from Jeremiah 17:8.
