Each year, the Broward County Non-Public School Association recognizes exceptional students. Therefore, Westminster Academy honored three students with the Pinnacle Award. Congratulations to Lawrence Parker, fifth grade, Katherine Calvet, eighth grade, and Clara Harms, twelfth grade! These students received the Pinnacle Awards for Westminster Academy for the 2019–2020 school year. While the year draws to an end, the Middle School gathered today online to celebrate many accomplishments. Faculty recognized students for athletics, academics, fine arts, and technical achievements. Even though all awards are worthy of praise, we would like to honor the students chosen for the Lion Award. For this particular award, the faculty vote for one female and one male student in each grade to receive one. They select students who exemplify ideals of character, academic pursuit, and overall excellence. On Monday, May 18, the Fine Arts Department recognized the talents and accomplishments of our students. Each department produced outstanding work this year. These acknowledgments are an encore for some and a debut for others: Band These students would never “blow their own horn,” so we will do it for them! Congratulations to jazz band seniors, Anna Sansbury and Josh Lencse, for their successful performances at Sacred Music Florida.
