10 Nov 41st Annual Christmas Boutique Recap
The 41st Annual Christmas Boutique and Craft Market was a great success! This Christmas tradition kicks off the holiday season for many in our community. In its 41st year, this one was no exception! The Lions Parent Association hosted 70 vendors on November 5 and 6. Among them were young entrepreneurs in the Student Vendor Marketplace. Several booths sold 100% handmade items. The Christmas Café and live performances by our talented fine arts students added to the holiday atmosphere.
The proceeds from the event were nearly $18,000 and will fund LPA activities throughout the year. Dedicated parent volunteers host faculty and staff appreciation events and year-end receptions, provide hospitality at school functions, give meals to families experiencing hardship, Bibles to seniors, and much more.
Special thanks to our Lions Parent Association leadership, numerous volunteers, and parents who donated items for the Christmas Café. An event of this magnitude is truly a team effort. Great appreciation goes to our Christmas Boutique Chair, Lori Murphy, and Christmas Café Coordinators Daria Pekic and Nancy Pritchard. Also, we are grateful to Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church for allowing us to use the Kennedy Fellowship Hall for the weekend.
