Lower School Encouragement Pumpkins

Lower School Encouragement Pumpkins

We were disappointed that we could not hold our annual Pumpkin Patch this year, but God had another plan. The Lower School decided to bless elderly people residing in assisted living homes with “Encouragement Pumpkins.” The younger students decorated them, and older students added a Bible verse and a word of encouragement. These pumpkins have been placed in “quarantine,” and then student council officers will have the privilege of delivering them through a partnership with a local ministry, Heart2Heart Outreach. What a gift it will be for us to encourage our elderly neighbors with their own pumpkin patch! We are proud of our lower school students for putting the words of Hebrews 3:13a into practice… “encourage one another daily.”
