A Word From Mr. Satterly—October 8, 2020

As we end the first quarter of the school year, there is much to celebrate. While God has ultimately protected our campus, I am also thankful for the dedication and commitment of our faculty and staff, as well as our students and families. It takes everyone doing their part to keep our campus safe. It also requires funding. To date, we have spent nearly $500,000 on COVID related expenses. While a portion of this is covered by tuition, our Annual Fund supports our operating budget and provides flexibility to act quickly when needs arise. The Annual Fund invests in people, strengthens programs, and enhances places on our campuses. COVID safety measures are one example of enhancing the environment of our campus.

I would encourage you to download our Annual Fund brochure, which provides greater detail on the purpose of the Annual Fund. I hope you saw an exciting headline in our first monthly eNews last month—“100% Participation from Our Faculty and Staff for Annual Fund.” Our current employees were inspired by a $10,000 pledge from our retired faculty and staff to encourage 100% participation. Very few schools are blessed to have a tradition of generosity like ours among both past and present faculty and staff.

Building on the example set by our faculty and staff, we will launch a five-day Annual Fund Drive for current families on October 21 and aim to reach 50% parent participation by the 50th day of school on Tuesday, October 27. We invite our extended community of alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, and friends to also advance our mission through a gift to the Annual Fund to help us reach this year’s goal of $500,000. Your tax-deductible donation may be mailed to the school or made online at For more information, please contact Sarah Hajduk, Director of Development, at or 954.771.4600, ext. 2504.

Thank you for your prayerful consideration.

To God be the Glory!

Joel Satterly
