10 Sep Support The Lions Athletic Club
In the last 12 months, the Lions Athletic Club (Boosters) was newly formed and focused on supporting our Westminster Academy student-athletes to excel on and off the field with new equipment, gear, and facilities. You can support the Lions Athletic Club by purchasing a family banner (2′ x 3′) for $250 for the 2020-2021 academic year on East or West campus. You may also click here to view a variety of Corporate Sponsorship packages available. All proceeds will be used to support athletics. Please email boosters@wa.edu with your interest as soon as possible.
Our most recent project was the installation of the Nava Family Aquatics Scoreboard. Special thanks to the Nava family for this generous donation to the aquatics program.
Additional 2020–21 Targets:
- Purchase a new Baseball Scoreboard—requires up to 3 – 4 corporate or individual partners. Please inquire if interested.
- Diving camera, TV, and pedestal—purchased August 2020
- Purchasing gear for varsity athletes—pending
- New weight equipment for performance training
2019–20 Highlights:
- New stadium scoreboard for football, soccer, lacrosse, etc.
- NBA-style digital scoreboard for basketball, volleyball, etc.
- Gear and bags for varsity student-athletes across most sports
- Two grills and lighting for concessions at the west campus Athletic Complex
