District Thespian Competition Results

Westminster Academy’s Thespian Society, Troupe 8570, completed their first One Acts Competition with District 7 Thespians. This competition is very competitive, and the students’ performance received the loudest applause of the day! This new cast of students performed Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island and received a trophy for Excellent Overall. In addition, sophomore Mikey White received the trophy for Best Supporting Actor for all two days of the One Acts Competition while junior Hunter Kriezinger received a plaque, chosen Best Actor in Troupe 8570.

For the Individual events, freshman Madison Settenbrino and sophomore Pauline Baxter both received Excellent Ribbons for the Solo Musical Events. Junior Rachel Castillo received a Superior trophy for her musical solo, and she and junior Kylie Mathis also received Superior Trophies for their musical duet. Both girls will be competing at the Florida State Thespian Competition later in March.

As a new troupe, our students’ immediate success in such a large-scale, competitive competition is remarkable. We celebrate such talent and excellence in our school!
