WA Students Graduate From Youth Leadership Broward

Leadership Broward Foundation (LBF) has served the county as a catalyst for change for 37 years. Their programs help emerging and recognized leaders expand their skills and enhance their knowledge of local and state issues.

Similarly, their nine-month program, Youth Leadership Broward (YLB), focuses on developing students. Each year, YLB selects 55 current sophomores from across Broward County to participate in this program during their junior year. First, students gain experience through interactions with community leaders from businesses, government agencies, and civic organizations. In addition, students develop essential leadership skills such as team building, conflict resolution, time management, public speaking, and goal setting. Finally, they impact the community through an ongoing service project throughout the year.

Congratulations to WA juniors, Frank Angione, Hannah Billings, Stephen Cardea, Sebastian Gammill, Clara Harms, and Sierra Sollars, who are recent graduates of Youth Leadership Broward Class 32!
