Communications Specialist

The Communications Specialist reports directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications and works closely with members of the Advancement Team (Marketing & Communications, Admissions, and Development) to advance the mission of the school. Coaching Positions

Facilities/Maintenance Personnel

Facilities/Maintenance personnel at Westminster Academy report directly to the Director of Facilities and perform maintenance and repairs to the physical plant at WA.

Previous experience involving pool maintenance is preferred as well as some experience involving: lighting, ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, drywall repair, and rough carpentry. In addition, the candidate will need to be a self-starter and will need to be able to work independently when necessary.

The Job responsibilities for Facilities/Maintenance personnel include:

  1. Maintaining pool water chemistry and keeping daily logs.
  2. Performing general building repairs and maintenance from faculty work orders.
  3. Proactively recognizing and reporting reoccurring building maintenance issues, as well as suggesting possible solutions.
  4. Assisting in routine daily set-ups and break-downs necessary to the operation of a Pre K-12 school.
  5. Performing repairs and maintenance in a safe, and timely way while proactively communicating equipment and material needs, progress, and any other assistance needed to complete tasks.

Bus Driver

Bus drivers report directly to the Campus Operations Coordinator and are responsible for the safe, timely transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and various athletic events.

Candidates must have a CDL license with P&S Endorsement as required by law, and have experience transporting children ages 5–18 in a school setting.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • The safe, timely transportation of students
  • Keeping and reporting ridership attendance
  • Documenting and reporting maintenance issues, fuel levels, and any safety concerns on all buses driven
  • Keeping up to date with regards to licensing, safety certification, etc.
