Westminster Academy upper school students are part of a special community where they can discover and develop their gifts and talents for God’s glory. High school students are challenged to prepare well for college through rigorous academics such as Advanced Placement (AP) classes, dual-enrollment classes, as well as electives designed to explore interests such as sports medicine, business law, broadcasting, computer science, graphic design, and psychology. Many students graduate from WA with enough college credits to enable an early graduation from college.
Middle School students explore opportunities that challenge and develop the whole student in an environment where students receive a strong academic foundation for college preparation while developing a Christian life and worldview.
Students also have the opportunity to grow in the love of Christ in weekly chapels, Spiritual Retreats, Spiritual Emphasis Weeks, and through many other learning opportunities.
The WA community—students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni—also share a deep sense of school spirit—part of the more than 40-year legacy of Westminster Academy! From Friday night football games under the lights to pep rallies like no other—Lions fans know how to show Lion spirit!
All of this and more combine to exemplify “Devoted to Christ, Dedicated to Excellence.”
