Save the date for the 11th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 2, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Friday, September 9, at 8:00 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time. We are looking forward to another exciting year in athletics at WA. We will be selling the stadium-style box seating in the gymnasium and football stadium to help raise funds for the basketball, cheer, football, and volleyball programs. This unique seating is an excellent opportunity to help raise extra funds for our athletic programs and provide a comfortable and unique athletic experience for our parents, grandparents, and fans. Our annual auction, The Golden Ticket, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, was a huge success with gross proceeds of $440,000, setting an all-time high in our 50-year history! This includes $65,000 raised for the new WA branded activity bus. In addition, we received a $50,000 match!
