The Lions’ Parent Association 39th Annual Christmas Boutique & Craft Market will once again have a special section just for students. Kid's Korner will be located in the Lobby of Kennedy Fellowship Hall and is open to all WA students. Student entrepreneurs may purchase an 8' table space at the reduced cost of $25 to promote their personal business, skills, crafts, or wares. Mark your calendars for the 7th Annual BBI WA Sporting Clay Tournament on Friday, November 30, at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee. Warm-up and breakfast begin at 9:00 a.m., and tournament play will start at 10:00 a.m. Teams take a golf cart around a course of fourteen stations with each participant shooting at four clay pigeons per station. Lunch and the awards ceremony will follow the tournament at 1:00 p.m. If you do not own a shotgun, you will be able to rent one from Quail Creek.All skill levels are welcome to participate! The WA annual golf tournament sponsored by Sage Dental & Steven Short Orthodontics will be held on Monday, October 22, at the Coral Ridge Country Club at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $250 per golfer/$1000 per foursome. The tournament welcomes all skill levels and students are encouraged to participate.
