Our annual auction, The Golden Ticket, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, was a huge success with gross proceeds of $440,000, setting an all-time high in our 50-year history! This includes $65,000 raised for the new WA branded activity bus. In addition, we received a $50,000 match! Congratulations to Danny and Amanda Byrne, who won the $5000 tuition credit for next school year, and thank you to all who purchased tickets! With much to celebrate, we also have many to thank. Fine Arts closes out the 2021–22 school year with a magnificent performance of Cinderella, presented by Journey Kids Dental! Over 1,200 seats were sold over four performances. Our students truly shine in the spotlight, from the magnificent singing to the incredible choreography, fantastic acting, and gorgeous costumes. Our largest fundraiser of the year, The Golden Ticket, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, is next Friday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Fellowship Hall. Today is your last opportunity to purchase tickets to attend. Limited seating remains, tables are no longer available. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association has been rescheduled for Friday, April 29, due to weather conditions on the prior date. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. The drift boat is full, however, private boat entry is still available. Every year, Boosterthon puts the “fun” in fundraising. While the Lower School Fun Run held on February 17 was, in fact, fun, it was also a huge success and raised over $60,000, which sets a new record! These funds will help provide playground enhancements that will be completed over the summer. Students from PK2 through fifth grade spent two weeks getting pledges and receiving prizes.
