Save the date for the 11th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 2, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate! However, all minors must be accompanied by a participating parent. Registration will open in mid-October, so stay tuned for more details. Join us for the time-honored tradition of Homecoming on Friday, October 14, at the west campus Athletic Complex. Pregame festivities, presented by Collision Care Xpress, will begin at 6:00 p.m. The Lions Athletic Club will be hosting a Pig Roast Cook-off, in addition to a concessions stand. Kickoff will be at 7:00 p.m. as the WA Lions Varsity Football Team takes on the University School Sharks. With over 4,000 WA alumni, we hope to welcome many of you home for the occasion! Lions Athletic Club Golf Tournament Registration is now open for the Lions Athletic Club Golf Tournament presented by Audi Fort Lauderdale on Monday, September 26! The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) is hosting the event at the Coral Ridge Country Club. All proceeds will enhance the WA athletic program, including facilities, equipment, and training, to empower our student-athletes to excel both on and off the field. Renewals have gone out and are filling up quickly. Several foursomes still remain, but it is expected to sell out for the second consecutive year.
