USA Basketball announced their selection for the Summer Youth Olympic Games, and WA sophomore Dudley Blackwell made the 3x3 team. With just four players needed, USA Basketball selected Dudley from his performance at the 2018 National Championships. That competition was held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in March when Dudley’s team earned an 8–0 record. While coming home with the State Championship Title was enough to celebrate, the awards for WA Basketball keep coming. Senior Zach Scott was named the 4A Men's Basketball Player of the Year by the Florida High School Athletic Association. Zach has truly left his mark in the WA history books.
