With perfect weather, the honored students donned their ceremonial red sashes to commemorate their dedication. Both the booming narration of Coach Jeff Smith and the cheering of friends and families filled the skies, as the students listed below and their escorts strolled up the H.W. Westminster Academy has been honored with the SupportMusic Merit Award from the NAMM Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education. The High School Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. Jeff Carroll, traveled to Grand Bahama Island on Thursday, March 2, for what should have been a 4-day, 3-night performance trip.
