WA alumnus, Michael Taylor ’09, hit the first post-season grand slam in the Washington Nationals franchise history to give the Nationals a 5–0 win over the Chicago Cubs and stretch the National League Division Series to a game five tonight. On September 28, we welcomed back our class of 2016 and 2017 alumni mothers to join us for our 5th Annual Alumni Mothers’ Luncheon. Mrs. Carole Sipowski, mother and grandmother of WA alumni and school board member was the guest speaker. She encouraged the mothers with wisdom from God's Word and used the story of Moses as a reminder that parents must entrust their children to God's care as they send them off to college.
