We were honored to welcome Dr. Alveda King to our campus last week. Dr. King is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is an author, speaker, and activist with a passion for the pro-life cause. Dr. King serves as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Faith & Culture and is the Chair of the Center for the American Dream at America First Policy Institute. Grades 3–6 participated in Digital T.H.I.N.K. Week, led by PREP Principal Dr. Rebekah Owens. The purpose of this week was to help students make thoughtful and positive choices with technology while recognizing that their choices affect their community and themselves. Each day, students and teachers focused on a specific topic supporting good digital citizenship. Junior Thespians in grades 6-8 competed in the District competition and received 8 Superiors and 12 Excellent ratings from the judges!
