A Word From The Academic Dean—February 4

February 4, 2016 Posted in: School News

At Westminster Academy, nurturing the spiritual lives of our students as committed disciples of Jesus Christ is integral to our mission. We approach every aspect of our educational program from the perspective of timeless biblical principles, preparing our students for a lifetime of seeking first the Kingdom of God. The week of Monday, February 8, has been set aside as Spiritual Emphasis Week (SEW). Spiritual Emphasis Week is a time to revitalize and renew an atmosphere of Christ-centered spiritual vitality. It is our prayer that upper school students are challenged and motivated through special chapels and seminars.

On Monday, February 8 and Thursday, February 11, all upper school students will participate in special chapels. WA graduate and former Bible teacher, Michael Critch will be our guest speaker. Michael will be speaking on our theme for the year, Hope in Christ. Chapel on each of these days will be held in the CRPC sanctuary and will begin at 9:25 a.m. Please join us if your are able.

On Tuesday, February 9, and Wednesday, February 10, all upper school students will attend special seminars which will be held in small group settings during chapel time.

Please join us in praying that hearts are set on fire for Jesus Christ during this special time.

Blessings to you and your family,

Diane Showalter
