2013 Homecoming Video Montage On YouTube

October 23, 2013 Posted in: Arts Tags: ,

home-coming-youtubeThe Broadcasting students at WA produced a  video montage which captured the fun and blessings of the 2013 Homecoming festivities and football Game.

Students are excited to be part of the first ever WA Broadcasting class. There are a variety of skills that go into making a video broadcast such as writing, producing, directing, editing, and on-camera hosting. The students are beginning to find which area of production they like best, and they will grow in their skills of production by performing those roles, just like they would if they actually worked in the field of broadcasting or production.  As our production program grows and develops, there will be more opportunities for students to develop their production skills.

Through hands-on experience they will learn the production process: pre-production, production and post. They will work individually, in small teams, as a part of the entire production team that forms the broadcasting class of which they are a part. It is our hope that they will be encouraged to further develop their talents and skills in broadcasting production as they serve the school and glorify Jesus Christ.

Under the leadership of Mr. Jason Beaupied, the following students from the Broadcasting class contributed to the making of the video:

  • Steven Aronson
  • Michelle Campbell
  • Andrew Fetter
  • Sean Grant
  • Britta Gunnlaugsson
  • Kseniya Konysheva
  • Eric Mihalko
  • Bayleigh Pearson
  • Kate Quinton
  • Lia Raby
